Description: The sugarcane was being crushed by the ancient method-A wooden plank is attached to the wooden crusher. A bull is tied to the wooden plank. So as the bull walks in circular motion the crusher moves.
A grey sitting besides pushes the sugarcane into two heavy circular wooden cylinders mounted in a wooden frame are geared to-gather with threads carved in the upper half of both cylinders so, when the yoke, fitted to a large wooden shaft fixed to one of the wooden cylinders, is turned it rotates the other cylinder as well, crushing the sugarcane fed through the turning wooden rollers. The juice flows ant through a narrow wooden channel before being collected in as utensils through a strainer.
