Surakamped is a wind instrument used by the Lanjia Saora tribe, which inhabits the region of Odisha and northern Andhra Pradesh. Originally made of bovine horns, these trumpets are now generally made of brass. They are used during celebratory events like festivals and marriages, as well as to signal victory during battles.
