Description: Authored by Henry Hardy Cole, this book gives a list of the illustrations of the ancient buildings in Kashmir, which is prepared under the authority of the Secretary of State for India in Council from photographs, plans, and drawings taken by the Government of India. The Archaeological Survey of India conducted this operation, and the illustrations have been produced from the original negatives in the Photographic Department of the Indian Museum, by the ‘Autotype’ process in Carbon, and are therefore permanent.
