The Scottish mathematical physicist James Clerk Maxwell had formulated his classical theory of electromagnetic radiation and it was believed by the end of the 19th century that all important discoveries in the field of physics had been made. It took Albert Einstein to present a fresh outlook and show that his physics was the way of the future. His Theory of Relativity was radical and changed the course of how the phenomenon of light and energy would be studied which stated that any light source either emitted by an electrical device or the sun is absorbed or radiated as discrete bundles of energy.
