Narayanrao G. Vyas (1902-1984) was one of the leading exponents of the Paluskar tradition within the Gwalior gharana. He was the disciple of Pandit Vishnu Digambar Paluskar. He was known for his high-pitched voice and effortless rendition of musical compositions. His khayal and bhajan performances were well-received by listeners. He was a very popular artist of his time and is said to have recorded more than a hundred 78 RPM discs.
He was honored with the Sangeet Natak Akademi award in 1976.
